Ewingsdale - Grand Avenue
Ewingsdale, NSW

Ewingsdale is a dot on the map where the access road to Byron Bay meets the roundabouts and overpasses to join the motorway north to Murwillumbah or south toward Sydney. It's really only a laneway, a church, a hall and a few houses but it's a "must visit" destination. The country road past the church and hall is an avenue like something out of Lord of the Rings - see the photos below for proof.

Ewingsdale - Grand Avenue

The grand avenue of fig trees at Ewingsdale has to be experienced once in every lifetime!

Ewingsdale - Hall & Church

The hall and church at Ewingsdale are the only public places of great note, although the Ewingsdale area is very popular as a country getaway, with a range of accommodation.

Ewingsdale - St Columbas Anglican Church (1915)

Built in 1915, St Columba's Anglican Church at Ewingsdale is great example of the typical, small timber country church which has served generations.

Ewingsdale - Hall

The Ewingsdale Hall is right next to St Columba's and comprises the other half of the "city centre"!
